The core team behind Iroony is :

Charles Reboux / Co-founder, CEO and CTO of RBX Créations.

As a former podiatrist and shoe technician, Charles basically designed shoes and insoles and focused especially on materials when making these products.

After experiences in France and the UK, he started to look for sustainable materials and created the brand Gorfoo to highlight alternatives such as traditional hemp from Vietnam, Chinese handmade ramie, Portuguese cork, etc.

He got particularly amazed by hemp agronomic assets, but at the same time realized how this plant is now barely used in textile. He met various farmers & industrials to understand why. This led him to the idea of transforming hemp in a new way, for a larger application field.
His skills include biochemistry, process engineering, farming and global supply chain. His role involves both to define the process for hemp transformation, identify the right partners to work with and deliver the strategic vision.
