We are proud that Iroony® was selected to be part of the Innovation Hub of the Future Fabrics Expo 2025, which tool place in London on June 24 and 25, 2025.
As the leading trade event dedicated to sourcing sustainable and innovative materials for the fashion and textile industries, celebrating its 15th birthday, the Future Fabrics Expo is the ideal platform to introduce our latest developments in cellulosic materials made from agricultural feedstock and in particular hemp.

The visitors could explore Iroony® pioneering materials in different formats to highlight the value chain steps, from the raw materials to the fabrics, through fibers and filaments such as produced in collaboration with DITF Research center.

It also included one handwoven prototype combining upcycled organic flax yarn with hemp cellulose filaments as ornament, made by Normandy-based designer Marie Baffard.

The Expo gathered in an amazing venue key players from across the textile industry, providing a unique opportunity to exchange with brands, manufacturers, and other innovators. It also featured thematic roundtables, including one focused on footwear, an application where Iroony® developments are opening new sustainable possibilities.
Future Fabrics Expo was also the Flagship Event for Fashion & Textiles at London Climate Action Week 2025.
Thanks FFE Team / The Sustainable Angle for the opportunity !

I read the post about Iroony being showcased at the Future Fabrics Expo 2025, and it clearly shows how innovative materials like hemp-based fibers are helping move fashion toward more sustainable solutions. The event itself brings together global experts to share eco-friendly ideas and materials. It reminded me of a busy semester when I used online Philosophy class work early so I could focus on learning about sustainability topics. That showed me how planning helps connect study with real world change.
